Most of the soft skills I have and keep on developing since I have started learning this course are good, I have develop my communication skill as we have to present our task in front of the class, and we laso have to communicate with others or with our group’s members to get their comments and ideas or asking for help. Besides, among all, teamwork is the most important thing and it is the essence of any successful tasks given by the lecturers. I have learnt on how to contribute my ideas, share ideas and give comments. Besides, I know it is very important for us to listen to our leaders’ orders and opinion. So that everything will run smoothly. It is true that education and learning is a lifelong process, therefore we should never give up to all those things we had and have come across in life. It is only a little challenge set by our God to test his creations.
Lastly, I would like to thanks you Prof and the tutors for being such nice and good facilitators towards me and all of my classmates throughout this sem. You guys are great…

The end of semester
Now it almost comes to the end of the semester, oh no the exam is just around the corner. I feel so nervous to perform in the exam. I hope everybody will do their best. Now, why don’t you guys try out to integrate the use of technology, I’m not asking all of you to cheat, but, try make a short or mind map notes by using the computers; your notes will be more organized and nice to be read. Wish you all good luck.
The computer lab
Honestly speaking, when I was in lower level secondary school I did not really care about the safety in the computer lab, my teacher did not emphasize about the safety in computer lab. So, I thought everything is okay. Now, I know there are certain safety precautions that we need to take into account while learning in there. For example, we should never eat and drink in there, we should turn off the computer before we leave and so on. Besides, during that time we only went to the computer lab for typing, typing and typing. That’s all. Hopefully everything will change in the next future. I want my pupils to learn more and have opportunities in using the technology to the utmost.

Fish Philosophy.....
It was so great if I have the chance to study or work later in that condition…. Now, I can imagine what I want my classroom to be later. it should a non-threatening environment which can motivate the pupils to come to school. I want make the classroom as a place for them to learn in fun ways, not only work, work and more homework. I want to give the pupils freedom to voice out their opinion and idea whenever I think their opinion and ideas are needed and should be share with others. I should never stop them from thinking and halt their imaginative skill. However, it is us, the teachers who will determine the environment and the culture of the classroom. If we are too ‘fierce’ with the pupils, they may be too afraid to make mistake and ask question, but if we can be a very flexible teacher, knows when to scold, when to make jokes and when you have to be serious. FISH philosophy is so like an imaginary classroom that we can imagine can happen in the school later, but for me, it is myself who will determine whether the school I was meant for later is place in that imaginary classroom. However, the most important things, thousand miles of journey starts with single step… so, make some changes slow and gradually…

Aother inspiring story from and unknown person..
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour a day to drain the fluids from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the man in the bed next to the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed would live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the outside world. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake, the man had said. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Lovers walked arm in arm amid flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man could not hear the band, he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Unexpectedly, an alien thought entered his head: Why should hehave all the pleasure of seeing everything while I never get to see anything? It didn't seem fair. As the thought fermented, the man felt ashamed at first. But as the days passed and he missed seeing more sights, his envy eroded into resentment and soon turned him sour. He began to brood and found himself unable to sleep. He should be by that window - and that thought now controlled his life.
Late one night, as he lay staring at the ceiling, the man by the window began to cough. He was choking on the fluid in his lungs. The other man watched in the dimly lit room as the struggling man by the window groped for the button to call for help. Listening from across the room, he never moved, never pushed his own button which would have brought the nurse running. In less than five minutes, the coughing and choking stopped, along with the sound of breathing. Now, there was only silence--deathly silence.
The following morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths. When she found the lifeless body of the man by the window, she was saddened and called the hospital attendant to take it away--no words, no fuss. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it all himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.
Moral of the story:
The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey. Our minds are like programs, awaiting the code that will determine behaviors; like bank vaults awaiting our deposits. If we regularly deposit positive, encouraging, and uplifting thoughts, if we continue to bite our lips just before we begin to grumble and complain, if we shoot down that seemingly harmless negative thought as it germinates, we will find that there is much to rejoice about.
Two inspiring stories for everyone....
I’ve been very quiet due to the hari raya craziness, however it’s not too late to wish everybody Selamat Hari Raya and maaf zahir batin. Now, I really want to talk a bit about the two touching and a very inspiring stories post by Prof. Maznah; thanks to that, you make us realize something that we may overlook later when we are already in the field of teaching. Though I’ve given some comments in the ADEC, but I still do want to contribute and share some opinion with other in this blog. Ms. Thompson is a very lucky woman and teacher when she did aware of her mistake and willingly to change, but compare to us nowadays, we always think that we are doing fine and there’s nothing left to be change inside ourselves. For me changes should take place from bad to good and negative to positive attitudes; no matter whether it is the way you think or act. Those who take things and view and obstacles in live positively, they will make others happy as well as lessen the problem. Besides, for it’s so easy for the ‘duck’ to be an ‘eagle’, but the most difficult thing is on how the ‘duck’ want to do in order to stay be like and ‘eagle’. It might be sound confusing, but let me explain; it may look so easy for a bad person to change into good person, but the question is, how he or she would do in order to stay good. However, let’s pray to Allah that we will always be and ‘eagle’ and not the ‘duck’.

Smartboard+Smartstudent
Now, I have almost done my smartboard assignment. Now, I felt a little bit relief…. But, I still waiting and thinking of the final touching for the presentation. This task is very challenging as I have to make the task as interactive as it can. I have to makesure that I am not “Syok Sendiri” while teaching by using the smartboard. The task should be able to invite students’ active participation. Now, I’m working toward it. Besides, I’m trying to attract their attention by using big and colourful fonts, animations and clear cut pictures. So, let’s work together in creating the smartstudents in using technology(smartboard) while having fun in gaining knowledge.

Video in youtube
P/s: feel great that my video had been uploaded into the youtube, thanks to those who have contributed a lot in completing and making this video(",)......
Smartboard task....
This is a very great opportunity for us since we were given a chance to integrate the use of smartboard in our teaching and learning later. My group has already did some discussion and come up with some simple ideas, but we do think of polishing all the ideas by imparting the use of new smartboard software. The explanation did by Ms. Fenny was very clear and interesting. We would like to explore further in using all these new things in our task later. Besides, due to time consumes, some of my friends did good job in creating a simple task by using the smartboard and the presenting it well.
P/S: feel great that my video had been uploaded into the youtube, thanks to those who have contribute a lot in making such a video clip.tq

Great information....
Good job Mz Chin, your lecture has given us a lot of information about the model of instructional design by Dick and Carey. Besides she is also explaining about ADDIE model of learning theory. Actually ADDIE stands for 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. These five phases of ADDIE is very important in designing instructional objectives. We can see the stages of the instructional objectives before we reach the last stage of evaluation. We as the future teacher may exercise his model later in Teaching and Learning practice later. On the other hand, we learned that ASSURE model is one of the best model that we apply later in the classroom by integrating the use of technology. ASSURE is the acronym for 1) Analyze, 2) State,3) Select, 4) Utilize,5) Require, 6) Evaluate. Besides, this model requires the students’ active participation because lesson can be very interactive between the students and material by integrating the use of technology.

In Addition, the video clips were so....
interesting and attractive, I really hope we can do better that those videos…. Wow this sounds like Mission Impossible 4,hehe... However we will try to do our best in order to accomplish the MI-4. The Video clips have already given us some ideas on how to create a quality video clip. Besides, I can see the movement and the transition of the video clips from one part to another which helping me to imagine on how my video clip should be. The words use are not too much, only important words or simple sentences to explain the video clip. The pictures are clear as well as the bright and contrast colours were used to help attract the audience attention. The use of various sounds and songs in the video were related to and complement each other and they were always using the catchy songs to let the audience enjoy and immerse in the video clip while watching it. Now we can see clearly the objectives of each video by combining all of the vital elements in designing a academic and fun video clip for young learners; especially the second English language learner in Malaysia.

Fuy_yooohhh!!!
Today is a very tough day, we have never imagined that the video clip is going to be a very challenging task for us; we have to create the storyboard. Honestly, this is my first time to experience in creating a video clip by giving the details of the video clip through storyboard. Hopefully, my group and I will be able to cope with the task given successfully. Thus, it is very crucial for us to keep in touch with Prof and the assistants regularly so that we will always in the right track. I hope they are willing to help us who are basically lack of information and knowledge about technology. Besides I have to prepare for my own clip video, we also have to “look after” the rest of our group members’ progression. From here we will learn on how to develop a video clip with clear steps and objectives. We are also learning on how to think creative and critically on designing the video clip as well as helping each other. In addition I really think that Youtube has given us a big ‘help’ in showing us of some of the examples of how to do a creative and interesting video clip. Therefore, I look forward on sending my first draft….(“,)

Assalamualaikum....(",)
Hai Prof. This is what I really think about technology…
First of all, I really think that technology is very important in our daily life as a student as well as the ‘future teacher’. Technology can really help us to save our time and to deal with simple and complicated things in our lives, as we know; time and tide wait for no man. So, by using technology, I believe we can also help our students to manage their time in learning activities later. Thus, in order for the students can be the IT literate, we first of all have to make the first move in gradually mastering the technological world. We have to really immerse in this world so that we’ll become familiar with all these things.
Besides, by using technology in teaching and learning process, we’ll be able to attract their attention throughout the lesson. As we know, young learners have little or a very short time span, so, what can we do in order to keep them awake with our lesson in that one hour lesson??? And of course, technology is the answer. By integrating the use of technology in our teaching and learning process, we’ll be able to pull their attention by exposing them to a new world called technology. This has been proved during our School Experience Programme (SEP) last semester, where my group and I had used a video clip about Fruits and Vegetables (download it from YouTube) and the students were so excited to see the video clip; we can see that they were all smiling and enjoying it. So, can you imagine, it was only a video clip, what about if show them an animation created or edited by us that is specially related with our lesson?; as we know we might not be able to gain the exact things that we want from internet right?
Therefore, I do encourage my friends to enhance our skills in technology advances and do not ever shy to learn from the professionals although we know nothing and we have to learn from A to Z, just be a dynamic novice which is not the stagnant one ok! I do agree with the all the things in the Next Generation Learning. I is very interesting and encouraging article for us as the New and can also be considered as the “Young Learner”. So, I advise the others to spend a little bit of time and do read it!!!!
So, before I end this, I would like to remind myself and all of you that we are going to be teacher, and not all of us are confirmed to be sent to an urban area school, so, do spend some thoughts that we will be teaching in the rural area too. So, do not let the technology halt you from being a flexible teacher, do change and adapt according to the environment and make gradual changes if you have the resources. Lastly, do not let the technology control you, you should control the technology, ok, have a nice day to everyone….(“,)

I was so surprised.........
This my first time learning about technology in depth, before this I only know about ms words, power point and how to watch movies....that's all, not more than this... now I know that technology is so essential for ourselves and others and it can be one of the most important and easiest communication tools... hope to learn more and better about this technology...
